Cushioning Maximum

With 42 mm under the heel and the brand-new addition of ZoomX foam in the top layer, the Structure Plus offers the softest and most responsive cushioning ever seen in this range.

Stability Reinforced Support

It's in its DNA. Its widened base and midfoot support system guide the stride without forcing it, ideal for gently correcting overpronation.

Why switch to the Nike Structure Plus?

The Structure Plus marks a historic turning point. It moves away from the "stiff" stability shoe image to offer a fun and energetic experience thanks to the ZoomX and ReactX duo. It's stability without compromising on pleasure.

ZoomX & ReactX: The winning duo

The major innovation lies in the midsole. A full-length layer of ZoomX provides exceptional bounce and softness, while the ReactX base ensures structure and durability.

This blend allows for a highly protective shoe (42mm stack) that remains stable with every impact.

360° Support System

To stabilize the foot without using rigid plastic reinforcements, Nike widened the shoe's base and redesigned the sidewall geometry.

The support system wraps the midfoot and heel, creating a natural "rail" that guides the foot along its axis, reducing the risk of injury related to overpronation.

Daily Premium Comfort

The engineered mesh upper is designed to be as comfortable as a sock, with generous padding at the collar and tongue.

Unlike old correction shoes, the Structure Plus feels weightless and unobtrusive, offering a perfect sense of fluidity for long runs and recovery.

Nike Structure Plus: Who is it for?

The Ideal Runner

  • Stride Type: Ideal for overpronators (foot rolling inward) or neutral runners whose form collapses with fatigue.
  • Weight: Thanks to its wide base and dense ReactX foam, it perfectly supports heavier runners (>85kg) by providing total security.

Perfect Use Case

  • Daily Training: This is the ultimate "mileage" shoe. Robust and comfortable, it handles daily outings without flinching.
  • Long Runs: With its ZoomX cushioning and support, it preserves body alignment over distances like half-marathons and marathons, delaying muscle fatigue.
  • Recovery / Prevention: Perfect for runners returning from injury (knees, shins) who need a reassuring and stable shoe.

What size should I choose for the Nike Structure Plus?

The Nike Structure Plus fits true to size. The forefoot is spacious enough to accommodate feet that tend to swell over long distances.

Our advice: Take your usual running shoe size (often 1 size up from your city/dress shoes).

The midfoot support is more pronounced than on a Pegasus, ensuring effective lockdown without compression.

FAQ – Nike Structure Plus

The Structure Plus is more cushioned and more dynamic. It features ZoomX foam (softer and more responsive) and has a thicker sole (42mm) than the standard version (Structure 25/26), which remains firmer and more traditional.

Yes, that is its primary function. Thanks to its widened base and internal support system, it limits the inward rolling of the foot (overpronation) while remaining comfortable for neutral runners.

Absolutely. It is an excellent choice for runners aiming for 3:30, 4:00, or more. Its ZoomX cushioning protects the legs, and its stability helps maintain good posture when fatigue sets in at the 30km mark.

The Infinity Run relies on a "Rocker" shape and full ReactX foam to guide the step. The Structure Plus is more stable, with a flatter and wider base, offering more direct and secure support.

For a stability shoe with this much cushioning (Max Cushion), it remains reasonable (approx. 285g). The use of ZoomX allows the shoe to be lighter than older corrective models which were often very heavy.

Yes. Unlike old shoes with hard reinforcements under the arch that bothered neutral runners, the Structure Plus's stability is "non-intrusive." It only acts if the foot collapses. Therefore, it is very good for long recovery runs.
