Northwave Clothing and Shoes

Founded in 1991 by the Piva family in northern Italy, the brand began to build snowboard boots.
A revolution on the snowboard slopes as the snowboarders of the time practiced this new sport in hunting or trekking boots.
Nortwave Bike was born in 1993 in Montebelluna, the Italian shoe district. Gianni Piva, the current CEO of the brand, had extensive experience in sports research and development at the time, and launched the first MTB shoe from Northwave. They stand out from the others: the color of the shoes is divided in two-tone, red and yellow, just like the company logo. Very quickly the brand will offer the general public specialized road bike shoes, to finally tackle the entire bicycle equipment market by offering a range of clothing for cyclists.
One of the specificities of Triathlon is that no time should be wasted in the transition between swimming / cycling and cycling / running events. You must be able to put on and take off these Triathlon shoes as quickly as possible. For this reason, the VELCRO strap fastening system is most commonly used on Triathlon shoes.
