What to do if you are in between bike sizes?
If you are on the edge of two different bike sizes, don't worry, you'll probably be ok on either size (rather than thinking that one size will be awful and the other will fit). Indeed, bikes are adjustable: the seatpost can slide up and down, the saddle can move backwards and forwards and you can even switch out parts like the stem for different sized ones to help the bike fit better.
Finding out whether or not you should pick a bigger or a smaller frame is sometimes as simple as personal preference, but there are a few simple ways to work out which might suit best:
- If you’re flexible, you might prefer a shorter head tube, so the smaller size might work out better for you. You can use a longer stem to make the reach more comfortable.
- On a bigger bike, the reach to the handlebars will be longer. This means that if you have proportionally longer arms, you might be more comfortable on a bigger frame.

A Direct Mount chain guard keeps the gears on the straight and narrow, and the neatly integrated Bosch top tube controller plus Purion 400 display show you what's going on with the powerful Bosch CX drive and 800 Wh PowerTube battery at a glance. With a 150 mm fork and 140 mm of rear-wheel travel, it's ready to take on the toughest of trails. The UDH dropout means it's future-proof, too. And, with Size Split, there's a wide range of sizes to suit most riders.
Tough trails demand a tough bike. With its High Performance Carbon and aluminium frame, the Cube Stereo Hybrid One44 HPC Race 800 is more than up to the job. Wide, grippy Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2.6" tires and strong Shimano MT420 hydraulic disc brakes put you firmly in control, while Fox's accurate 36 Float AWL Sport fork and smooth Float Rhythm R shock deliver 150 mm of front- and 140 mm of rear-wheel comfort. Plus, with up to 100 Nm of pedal assistance on tap and the huge range of Shimano's 1x12 Deore XT gears, the Bosch CX motor and 800 Wh PowerTube battery will keep you riding for miles of smiles.
