The SQlab 6OX Ergowave Active ltd.

The

design of the 6OX ERGOWAVE active 2.1 Mountainbike and E-MTB saddle, inspired by the contours of the mountains, is the result of a collaboration with ION. Individual adjustment and perfectly coordinated ergonomics make the 6OX the ideal partner, up and down the trail

.

Two pioneering brands from the Boards and More group, one common guiding principle: the pleasure of pedaling. SQlab X ION products represent the perfect ergonomics of SQlab and the elegant performance of ION. The designs, inspired by water sports, give the products a casual touch. The design of ION's 6OX and 7OX products in particular picks up on mountain contours and pays impressive homage to mountain biking - true to ION's motto "Surfing Trails".

Optimum fit:
To adapt to every individual seat-bone distance, the 6OX ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 ltd. ION is available in four different saddle widths. The right saddle width ensures that the seat bones are in full contact with the saddle and that pressure can be distributed according to ergonomic principles. The distance between the seat bones can be determined at a SQlab specialist dealer or at home using our measuring kit.

Ergonomics perfectly implemented:
Climbs are often steeper, especially in E-MTB, and rear support in the cradle is particularly important

in this respect.

Unnecessary sliding back and forth is tiring and wastes energy, which is lost to propulsion. The SQlab stepped saddle shape provides a defined riding position and optimizes power transfer to the pedals.

Gentle on the back:
Active technology allows the saddle to move sideways during pedaling. This mimics the natural pelvic movement that occurs during walking. The advantage is that intervertebral discs are not continually compressed and exposed to unilateral pressure peaks. Thanks to the dynamic sitting position, the intervertebral discs are continuously supplied with nutrients, helping to prevent back pain.
