Looking for a top-of-the-range wheelset? This Pride wheelset with CFR Wave rims and Control hubs delivers astonishing performance. With its low-profile rims and spoke-head reinforcements, the wheel under tension becomes incredibly stiff. With a rear hub featuring the 6/60 system providing 180 points of engagement, you'll get super-strong, high-performance carbon wheels!
Years of research for the French brand, to obtain the stiffest and lightest wheelset possible. Lightness and stiffness are two opposing factors. But the result of these wheels is a rather successful combination!
Discover the WAVE rim, created and developed exclusively for BMX Race. It's a new, exclusive Pride Racing design, including a square reinforcement at each spoke head. This will enable higher spoke tension for superior wheel stiffness. The spoke heads will also be better oriented during spoking.
The Wave rim is made from Toray T700 carbon and features a very low profile: 22mm high and 31mm wide. These dimensions prevent wind resistance and optimize vertical and lateral rigidity.
Withless than 300g on the scale, it's one of the lightest rims on the market, a real asset on the track!
This rim is tubeless compatible. This requires the use of a specific tubeless rim base, valve and tire. It has no brake flanges for the brake pads, and is only compatible with disc brakes.
For Control Pride hubs, the French brand retains its 6/60 system providing 180 points of engagement, but innovates with a new, larger hub body, CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum.
Hubs that accompany most of today's top riders. An Olympic gold medal with Beth. Shriever in 2021, a World Cup first place in 2022 in Glasgow with Jérémy Rencurel. These Pride Control hubs are extremely efficient when it comes to getting on the track. With 180 points of engagement, they provide almost immediate relaunch. All this with an aluminum body for maximum weight savings.
This wheelset also comes with a 116.5mm 20mm axle with 6 spacers for perfect wheel placement on all types of 20mm forks!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Supplied with lock ring and spacers to adjust the chain line.
