The best triathletes are those who are good at everything. That's why the Castelli Free Sanremo 2 suit has so many features. Let's start at the end:

Running part: At this stage of the competition, fatigue sets in. You'll love the comfort of this suit. The Sanremo construction in the front with its special opening doesn't pull you forward, it makes pee stops easier and allows you to open it when you get too hot. The fabric dries quickly and is lightweight to keep you cool. The chamois, so comfortable on the bike, is light enough that you barely feel it. The two back pockets compress your gels so they don't blow out. The long legs with the Giro4 elastic support band around the legs don't ride up and compress. Maybe you won't even notice that you don't have as many burn points where you've been chafed. You'll feel that the comfort gives you more power and helps you go faster.

Bike part: You'll enjoy a few hours of distancing yourself from others. This suit benefits from the aerodynamic research for Castelli's Pro PR suit, but is designed for medium to fast triathletes. The legs and sleeves offer excellent protection, the back offers decent protection from the sun, and the two pockets can hold quite a few snacks. You'll appreciate Castelli's expertise in chamois construction. So put your head down and outrun other cyclists again.

Swim part: the reduced seams and long cut arms and legs help you split the water while the flat pockets don't waste time. The fit is snug and the lightweight fabrics don't hold as much water. The shoulders are very stretchy so they don't restrict your freedom of movement even under a wetsuit or swimsuit.

  • The Velocity Rev2 fabric on the front provides perfect aerodynamics and fit, combined with excellent moisture management.
  • The back fabric is our Velocity mesh chosen for breathability, which also blocks no less than 94% of UV rays (UPF 16 ).
  • Elbow-length sleeves with raw edges for maximum comfort and aerodynamics.
  • Castelli's Sanremo front opening accommodates both the tucked-in position on the bike and the upright position during running and swimming, while making it easy to take a pee break or open when you start to get really hot while running.
  • 2 rear pockets that stay flat during the swim portion, but also offer generous space for energy supply.
  • New construction of the shorts with a better fit and more muscle support.
  • Flat Giro4 support strips on the thighs for maximum aerodynamics.
  • KISS Tri seat insert that's comfortable on the bike, but discreet enough that you barely feel it while you're running.
