- A triathlete's iconic accessory, the trifonction is a must-have triathlon essential:
- In swimming, its material is similar to that of a swimsuit, and its internal foam skin is perforated and won't get waterlogged.
- On the bike, the foam skin enhances seating comfort. The tri-function also doubles as a cycling shorts, to be worn without underwear.
- On the run, its thin skin ensures comfort and lightness.
- Dry quickly! Thanks to the material of this tri-function, you'll dry ultra-fast during your swim/bike transition, so you won't pedal wet. And yes, so you don't lose any time during this transition, you'll be swimming with your tri-function under your neoprene wetsuit!
What's more, a large strip of mesh has been laid out to wick away perspiration where your body sweats most: your spine. - The little details that make all the difference!
- This tri-functional garment features a siliconized thigh band to prevent the bottom from shifting when wearing or changing into a neoprene wetsuit for swimming.
- A front zip down to the navel lets you breathe during the race, and ensures quick donning! This zipper features an internal protection strip to prevent chafing.

- A tri-function adapted to your morphology! This tri-function has been designed to embrace the different morphological zones characteristic of men. Overall, the material used for this trifunction is lighter on the top and has a little more support on the bottom. Without compressing you, it provides all the support you need for a natural, comfortable fit. As for the internal foam, it follows your male morphology perfectly.
- A product designed to carry nutrition. To reach the finish line of a short-distance triathlon (between 1 and 3 hours of effort), you need to think about eating! This tri-function features a pocket accessible from the right thigh: no need to fumble blindly in your pockets looking for supplies, you can see everything! This pocket can hold up to 2 bars and/or gels, and is thermoformed: with no seams or fasteners, it doesn't feel tight, and the products inside are under tension and won't move.
- Trifonction, combi triathlon, trifonction triathlon...what are the differences?
None! It's the same type of triathlon outfit, a 3-in-1 combi: it's up to you to choose the term you prefer. Be careful not to confuse it with a neoprene wetsuit, which provides buoyancy and thermal insulation for swimming.
Do I need an extra wetsuit for swimming?
It depends on the water temperature!
The buoyancy of a neoprene wetsuit makes it a plus for swimming. Good to know: the French Triathlon Federation prohibits the use of wetsuits for swimming if the water temperature exceeds 24°C, and makes them compulsory if the temperature drops below 16°C. Between 16 and 24°C, it's up to you. - With or without underwear? We encourage you not to wear briefs or boxer shorts to avoid unnecessary friction.
