Created in 2012 during a GMHM expedition to open the west face of Kamet (7,756 m) in alpine style in Pakistan, this jacket has evolved without ever losing its DNA: to be an essential piece of modern mountaineering gear.
Robust from the outset, it has been reinvented version after version, becoming lighter and now adopting the new PFAS*-free GORE-TEX ePE membrane, while maintaining the same waterproof and breathable performance. After 11 years in the range, Millet has updated this jacket with a redesigned concept for today's mountaineering.
Still as durable as ever thanks to its 100% recycled polyamide outer fabric, the KAMET GORE-TEX retains its legendary versatility. Its redesigned, helmet-compatible hood with precise adjustments and pre-shaped sleeves optimize movement on the rock face. Designed to withstand a variety of conditions and accompany you in all your alpine activities, it remains true to Millet's strengths: durability, reliability, and technical expertise.

TECHNOLOGIES:
- ACTIVE FIT™: A fittedcut throughout the body, slightly tapered at the bottom of the garment, making it less bulky and therefore more effective during exercise. This cut is often combined with stretch fabrics for greater comfort.
- GORE-TEX ePE: The new GORE-TEX ePE membrane is developed in extremely lightweight and thin composites that are mechanically robust, enabling durable performance. Combining expanded polyethylene (ePE) and polyurethane (PU), the result is a durable waterproof, windproof, and breathable membrane with a low membrane mass, resulting in a lower carbon footprint.
- MADE IN OUR OWN FACTORY: This product was designed in the Annecy workshop and manufactured in one of Millet's factories, guaranteeing healthy working conditions and social benefits for the employees who made it.
