Born in 2012 during a GMHM expedition to open the West Face of Kamet (7756 m) in alpine style in Pakistan, it has since evolved without ever losing its DNA: to be an essential piece of modern mountaineering.
Robust from the outset, it has reinvented itself version after version, becoming lighter and then adopting the new PFAS-free GORE-TEX ePE membrane, while maintaining the same waterproof-breathable performance. After 11 years in the Millet range, the brand has brought this jacket up to date with a rethought design for today's mountaineering.
Still just as hard-wearing thanks to its 100% recycled polyamide outer fabric, the KAMET GORE-TEX retains its legendary versatility. Its redesigned hood, helmet-compatible with precise adjustments, and preformed sleeves optimize movement on the wall. Designed to cope with a variety of conditions and accompany all your alpine activities, it remains true to Millet's strengths: durability, reliability and technicality.

TECHNOLOGIES:
- ACTIVE FIT™: Fitted cut over the whole body, slightly tightened on the bottom of the garment, which makes it space-saving and therefore efficient in effort. This cut is often combined with stretch fabrics for greater comfort.
- GORE-TEX ePE: GORE-TEX's new ePE membrane has been developed in extremely light, thin, mechanically robust composites for long-lasting performance. Combining expanded polyethylene (ePE) and polyurethane (PU), the result is a durably waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane with a low membrane mass resulting in a lower carbon footprint.
- MADE IN OUR OWN FACTORY: This product was designed in the Annecy workshop and manufactured in one of Millet's factories, guaranteeing healthy working conditions and social benefits for the employees who made it.
