Lighten your pack without sacrificing interior volume with the ultralight, semi-freestanding FreeLite 2, designed for people who want to make the most of their three-season adventures without being slowed down by gear.

The interior: She lost almost 226 grams compared to the previous version of the FreeLite. The ground sheet remains rectangular (no shrinkage at the feet as with most other tents) with an interior height of 1 meter (7.6 cm gained). The tent body made of fine mosquito net fabric provides excellent ventilation. The bowl-type waterproof groundsheet protects from the elements. The two doors are not curved and allow you to go out in the middle of the night without having to disturb the other person. The new zippers are more robust and easy to use with one hand. Plus, they're in the same place when closed, so you always know where to place your hand to open the door, even in the dark. Convenient new electronics pockets feature corner cord openings. Hanging storage spaces are perfect for headlamps, glasses and other items you want to keep close at hand.

The exterior: The semi-freestanding design allows for quick and easy assembly. Super strong DAC NFL tent poles, DuraShield? waterproof coating and taped seams protect against the elements. Flysheet with cutout saves weight. It incorporates two large vestibules to store anything you don't want to keep inside. Vestibule doors allow for easy passage, and feature a StayDry? rain gutter that prevents water from dripping onto you and your gear.
