• The side vestibule, approximately 70 cm wide, is protected by an integrated mat, which keeps your gear off the ground and protected from the elements. This provides storage space that can accommodate one backpack of up to approximately 70 liters.

• Lightweight aluminum pole, resistant to breakage and freezing: 7001 T6 Yunan SD70PF aluminum, Ø 8.3 mm.
• Optimized square stakes: "anvil" head and extra-thick body, making them very strong and lightweight (7075 T6 aluminum).
• Single Y-shaped dome: the main pole splits into 3 legs to allow the structure to be virtually self-supporting. A ridge pole adds volume and thus livability.
• The flysheet and inner tent are separate. Setup is therefore done in the traditional way: the inner tent, laid on the ground, is clipped onto the poles. The flysheet is then placed over the entire structure. Adjust the tension.
• If necessary, the inner tent can be removed from the inside.
• A color-coding system on the pole, inner tent, and flysheet allows for intuitive setup.
• Forclaz tents are lab-tested: when pitched, 200 liters/square meter/hour (3 hours, equivalent to a tropical downpour). They are also tested by a panel of users in the field.
• The 20-denier polyester (PES) flysheet and 40D polyamide (PA) groundsheet are coated with polyurethane (inside) and silicone (outside).

• Multi-component inner tent combining breathability, wind protection, and reduced condensation
• To ensure wind resistance, the tent must be properly pitched, tensioned without being overly tight, with all guy lines fully extended around the tent. This way, it will remain habitable with wind speeds measured at 60 km/h near the ground.
• The inner tent is made of mesh for ventilation and water-repellent fabric to protect against condensation and drafts. There are 2 large roof vents that can be closed with Velcro.
• To minimize condensation inside the tent, it must be properly set up with the fabric taut but not overly tight. The door features a two-way zipper to keep it open. Using the vents and ensuring good air circulation helps limit moisture inside
• 3-season tent: your tent will protect you from the harsh weather conditions you might encounter in spring, summer, or fall. It can withstand light snowfall but is not designed to withstand heavy loads that would weigh down on the structure.
