Designed in the French Alps, this self-supporting 3-season trekking tent offers 3 people plenty of room without sacrificing lightness and compactness.

This model, based on a double-Y dome structure, offers optimum functionality with 2 separate doors and 3 apses perfect for storing 3 backpacks up to 70L. 6 pockets in the bedroom.

The 3 apses (side and front), each around 70 cm wide, are protected by an integrated mat, keeping your equipment off the ground and out of the elements. They provide storage space for 3 backpacks of up to 70 liters.
6 pockets (4 side & 2 top) to store and organize your gear.

DETAILS:

Light & frost-resistant aluminium hoop: 7001 T6 aluminium Yunan SD70PF Ø 9 mm.
Optimized square pegs: "anvil" head, extra-thick body, making them very strong and light (7075 T6 aluminum).
Double-Y dome shape: the main hoop splits into 4 legs at each corner to allow the structure to be self-supporting. A top arch adds volume and therefore habitability.
The double-roof and bedroom are separate. Assembly is carried out in the traditional way: the chamber, placed on the ground, is clipped onto the hoops. The double roof then covers the whole. Adjusting tensions.
Forclaz tents are laboratory-tested: tent erected, 200 liters/m²/hour (3 hours, equivalent to a tropical downpour). They are also field-tested by a panel of users.
The 20 denier polyester (PES) rain fly and 40D polyamide (PA) ground sheet are made of coated polyurethane (inside) & silicone (outside).
Seams sealed with thermobonded tapes.
Multi-component chamber combining breathability, wind protection and condensation control
To guarantee wind resistance, the tent must be well pitched, stretched without excess, with all guy wires fully extended around the tent. In this way, it will remain habitable even in winds of up to 65 km/h close to the ground.
Mosquito netting for ventilation and water-repellent fabric to protect against condensation and draughts. There are 2 large vents at the top, which you can close with a Velcro fastener.
3-season tent: your tent will protect you from the harsh weather conditions you may encounter in spring, summer or autumn. It will withstand light snowfalls, but is not designed to withstand heavy loads on the structure.
Your tent is designed for touring bivouacs, not for static use in direct sunlight.
