DESCRIPTION

Small groups of hikers looking to minimize their shared weight will appreciate the FreeLite 3-person tent, an ultralight, three-season shelter with a spacious interior that seems to disappear when divided among three backpacks.

The interior:Withan interior height of 1.09 meters (43 in) (a gain of 10.2 cm) and a rectangular floor (no narrowing at the foot end like most other tents), the FreeLite has still shed over 255 grams (9 oz). The tent body made of fine mesh fabric ensures excellent ventilation. The waterproof, bowl-shaped floor protects against the elements. The two doors are not curved, allowing you to step outside in the middle of the night without disturbing the other person. The new zippers are sturdier and easy to use with one hand. Plus, they return to the same spot when closed: you always know where to reach to open the door, even in the dark. New convenient pockets for electronics feature corner cutouts for cords. The hanging storage pockets are perfect for your headlamp, glasses, and other items you want to keep within reach.

The exterior:TheFreeLite’s semi-freestandingdesignallows for quick and easy setup. Super-strong DAC NFL tent poles, a DuraShield™ waterproof coating, and taped seams protect against the elements. The cutaway fly saves weight. It features two large vestibules for storing everything you don’t want to keep inside. The vestibule doors allow for easy access and are equipped with a StayDry™ gutter that prevents water from dripping onto you and your gear.
