DESCRIPTION:

The Stellar W'S GTX is an agile, crampon-compatible shoe for high-altitude mountaineering, as well as fast ascents on rock, mixed, snow and ice, and rock climbing.
Its secret lies in a new sole design technique: the foot rests directly on the soft, dual-density PU midsole to maximize cushioning and ensure precise foot positioning, while offering shock resistance on rough terrain.
Thanks to its anatomical construction, the precision and technical features of this mountaineering shoe are enhanced by a feel more akin to a comfortable trail shoe

SOLE
The innovative Vibram® Stellar sole has been designed exclusively for Kayland. The internal construction features a honeycomb design that lightens the structure, improves thermal insulation and provides excellent shock absorption. The midsole is made of dual-density PU foam and sits on top of the PU insole, which is also perforated to reduce weight and increase torsional stability. The sole contains an integrated welt to accommodate a semi-automatic crampon, making it the ideal partner for your alpine adventures.
TIGE
The foot-hugging upper is made of microfiber and abrasion-resistant fabric. It features highly resistant rubber toe reinforcements. The gusseted elastic tongue is open on one side only. It wraps perfectly around the shin and ankle, with no overlaps or compression points: the fit is made even more comfortable by the strong, lightweight protective edge and Lycra collar.
LINING
The lining features the Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane for total waterproofing and breathability.
FIT
The differentiated modular lacing system adapts perfectly to the instep and guarantees an extremely precise fit, further enhanced by the advanced asymmetrical positioning of the fastener to ensure correct flexion. The Kayland Ankle Lock system protects the ankle and keeps it firmly in place, while allowing totally natural movement. The heel is well anchored and ergonomic padding prevents blisters. The Stellar W'S GTX features a specially designed fit to support, protect and contour the female foot for exceptional comfort and top performance.

Stellar GTX is an innovative boot offering exceptional comfort that marks the continued evolution of Kayland's mountaineering DNA: a classic approach to the mountains, where the pleasure of the experience is as important as the performance. The height and closure of the boot are traditional - a touch purists will appreciate - while the supportive feel is totally new.

Vibram sole

Vibram is a manufacturer of high-end soles for hiking, climbing and trail shoe brands. These soles are made of high performance rubber materials to provide great resistance, better traction and outstanding grip on difficult mountain terrain and in all weather conditions.

For hiking, the design can be either narrow or wide in order to bring more precision or more stability to your every step. Note that the height of the crampon also plays an important role in mountain climbing. The higher the cleat, the more you will gain in clearance and ease in unstable rocky sections..

Nubuck Leather

It is a treatment on the grain side of the leather (upper part of the leather), giving it a smoother and more resistant aspect for the practice of hiking in the mountains.
