Choosing the right sized bike depends on the type of bike, your height, your riding style, and your preference. A correct fitting bike will be more comfortable, more efficient and more fun to ride

What to do if you are in between bike sizes?

If you are on the edge of two different bike sizes, don't worry, you'll probably be ok on either size (rather than thinking that one size will be awful and the other will fit). Indeed, bikes are adjustable: the seatpost can slide up and down, the saddle can move backwards and forwards and you can even switch out parts like the stem for different sized ones to help the bike fit better.

Finding out whether or not you should pick a bigger or a smaller frame is sometimes as simple as personal preference, but there are a few simple ways to work out which might suit best:
  • If you’re flexible, you might prefer a shorter head tube, so the smaller size might work out better for you. You can use a longer stem to make the reach more comfortable.
  • On a bigger bike, the reach to the handlebars will be longer. This means that if you have proportionally longer arms, you might be more comfortable on a bigger frame.

The Trail Shredder's eMTB. The Rise LT offers 160 mm / 150 mm of plush travel with a progressive trail geometry. Orbea's 420 Wh battery comes as standard, but the 630 Wh battery is an option. The Shimano EP motor has Orbea's latest RS Gen2 MC firmware, giving the most natural ride. Rider Synergy, (RS) is the heart of Rise. The most natural, elastic assistance and best in class battery range for the most epic adventures. Now Rise takes that even further with the option to increase torque to 85 Nm.

For the best handling, bikes need the correct rigidity, in the correct places. Rise's new asymmetric frame design is key to tuning the frame rigidity. The result is predictable performance when you are pushing the limits. The natural RS Gen2 assistance works with you to involve you in the ride, providing assistance where it is needed and conserving battery life elsewhere. Available on the Rise LT, Orbea's quick flip system lets you change the geometry in just a few seconds. You can steepen the geometry for the climbs and slacken it for maximum control on the descents.

Orbea use the most technologically advanced carbon construction available to make the most sophisticated frame possible. A complex and painstaking process with results you will appreciate in the saddle. Orbea Monocoque Race (OMR) carbon frames add high modulus and high strength fibers to a standard layup to improve stiffness-to-weight ratios. Bladder molding with EPS forms and PU headtube and bottom bracket inserts stop wrinkling and unconformities in critical zones, allowing less carbon to be used while maintaining strength.
