What to do if you are in between bike sizes?
If you are on the edge of two different bike sizes, don't worry, you'll probably be ok on either size (rather than thinking that one size will be awful and the other will fit). Indeed, bikes are adjustable: the seatpost can slide up and down, the saddle can move backwards and forwards and you can even switch out parts like the stem for different sized ones to help the bike fit better.
Finding out whether or not you should pick a bigger or a smaller frame is sometimes as simple as personal preference, but there are a few simple ways to work out which might suit best:
- If you’re flexible, you might prefer a shorter head tube, so the smaller size might work out better for you. You can use a longer stem to make the reach more comfortable.
- On a bigger bike, the reach to the handlebars will be longer. This means that if you have proportionally longer arms, you might be more comfortable on a bigger frame.

Modern geometry and clever suspension, designed from the start around 120 mm, bring extra fun to every ride without compromising weight or efficiency. Simply put, Oiz is the fastest XC bike to leave Orbea's factory in over 180 years.
Modern XC racing is more demanding than ever, meaning that modern XC bikes are evolving to offer more control, and fun, on the descents. Orbea's No Compromise Geometry takes feedback from their racers, riders and tests to make Orbea's funnest ever XC bike.
A steep seat tube and lower stack puts you in the driving seat, in full control of your ride. The longer reach, designed around a 60-90 mm stem, offers stability on the descents while maintaining a weighted front wheel for attacking on the climbs and corners.
OMX carbon offers the lightest Oiz possible, appealing to racers. Orbea's engineers use the most technologically advanced carbon construction available to make the most sophisticated frame possible. A complex and painstaking process with results you will appreciate in the saddle. OMX (Orbea Monocoque X) frames combine only high modulus and high strength fibers. The carbon sheets are laser-cut to reduce excess material and overlaps, then hours of pre-moulding ensure optimal compaction with a minimum amount of carbon. A full EPS (expanded polystyrene) mould and latex inserts are used to eliminate creases and imperfections.
