Vero Sandler came to Burgtec looking for a grip that didn’t yet exist on the market.

Designed in the same way she traces her lines—element by element—the Vero Pro Grip was developed based on everything she’s learned over her years of riding. Every detail served a purpose. Every compromise was questioned.

One thing was clear from the start: it had to be a slip-on grip. Vero’s favorite grips had always been of this type, and she wanted to recapture the feel, simplicity, and comfort that only slip-on grips can offer.

The 31-mm profile features a repeating pattern that provides a consistent grip no matter where you hold it. Through countless rounds of testing and adjustments, Vero developed a pattern that provides reliable grip in all conditions, with enough flexibility to remain comfortable without ever sacrificing precision when pulling hard or cushioning a landing.

The pattern is only half the story. The other half is a custom rubber compound that provides a grippy, secure feel from the very first ride, balancing comfort, traction, and durability in equal measure.

One of Vero’s long-standing frustrations was that dirt would seep under the grip after crashes and impacts on mulch jumps. To address this, Burgtec developed an integrated dirt seal that creates a watertight seal against the handlebar once the grip is installed, helping to keep dirt and moisture out.

Burgtec also knew that riders would want multiple options. A dedicated groove next to the clamp allows for clean removal or can be used as a guide for a safety cable. A slight raised area under the thumb reduces pressure during long training days.

The finishing touch is the end cap. Protected by a raised rim and made of high-density rubber rather than plastic, it’s designed to withstand impacts, glide smoothly, and prevent snagging on clothing.

Tested at the Red Bull Rampage, the Backyard Battle, and countless freeride sessions, the Vero Pro Grip was designed for brutal landings, challenging approaches, and unforgiving terrain.
