Highly versatile, the Smith Trace helmet is just as well-suited for long, winding descents as it is for race days. Whether on the road, on gravel, or on a bikepacking trip, this bike helmet combines Koroyd® and MIPS® technologies to provide reliable protection when the ride gets rough. And you’ll stay cool when temperatures peak thanks to the internal ventilation system’s intake and exhaust vents, which allow air to circulate. The side channels let you securely store your sunglasses when you don’t need them, and when you do, our AirEvac™ ventilation system prevents fogging.

  • The hybrid Shell construction combines a durable outer shell with a lightweight In-Mold shell. This makes the helmet durable where you need it most while keeping it lightweight
  • Aerocore™ construction features Koroyd® padding in specific areas to protect you from impacts by absorbing energy, all while remaining lightweight and providing perfect ventilation
  • The MIPS® Brain Protection System reduces the rotational forces that oblique impacts exert on the head
  • Certifications: ASTM F2040, CE EN 1077:2007 CLASS B, CPSC, CE EN 1078

  • Designed to integrate seamlessly with Smith goggles for maximum comfort and optimal ventilation

  • With the BOA® 360 adjustment system, enjoy micro-adjustments to achieve the perfect fit with a single turn of the dial
  • You can easily adjust the Regulator temperature control system at the front and back with a single twist
