The Aerohead II Mips® is Giro's most aerodynamic time trial helmet to date, designed with CFD and VR, and validated in wind tunnels with the world's fastest Team Visma riders.

DETAILS:

• The hull construction consists of two elements: an ultra-strong outer shell and a polycarbonate lower shell. The latter is permanently fused to the inner lining, offering excellent strength while maintaining minimal weight.
• The Mips Air Node system is a low-friction layer integrated into the inner padding, offering a lightweight, highly ventilated solution for reducing rotational energy. This layer is attached to the absorbent liner via strategically positioned Velcro attachment points. In the event of an oblique impact, these attachment points are designed to disengage locally, allowing the padding to slide off, thus reducing the rotational forces transmitted to the head.
• Thanks to its ergonomic and compact micro-adjustable knob, this system allows independent adjustment of the helmet's vertical position and contact points, optimizing stability, ventilation and comfort.
• Thanks to the exclusive Super Fit™ sizing system, Giro has designed helmets that perfectly fit all head shapes, based on scientific data and over 25 years of expertise.
