The Aerohead™ Mips® helmet was designed in a wind tunnel, tested on the track, and has proven itself with record-breaking performances at the Tour de France and the Ironman World Championships.

The Aerohead™ Mips® helmet is specifically designed for triathletes and time trialists who demand optimal aerodynamics and efficient cooling. This helmet features an optimized aerodynamic profile and a lightweight polycarbonate shell. The Wind Tunnel™ ventilation system and internal channels ensure efficient cooling during exertion. Thanks to its unique wraparound visor with ZEISS® optics, the Aerohead™ Mips® offers an unobstructed field of view and unmatched clarity. The visor is secured by a magnetic attachment but is easy to remove and stow in the raised position, allowing for a quick transition to the bike. The Aerohead™ Mips® helmet features the Mips system, which redirects impact energy for enhanced protection in certain situations.

RIGID SHELL WITH HARDBODY™ MOLDED INNER LINER — The two-piece shell combines a rigid, durable outer shell with a polycarbonate inner shell permanently fused to the liner for durability without added weight.
INTEGRATED MIPS® SYSTEM FOR BRAIN PROTECTION — All Giro helmets are designed to absorb maximum energy while exceeding the strictest safety standards. The goal of Giro helmets equipped with integrated MIPS is to reduce rotational forces. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the rotational force that may be transferred to the rider’s brain during certain impacts.
ROC-LOC® 5 AIR-FIT SYSTEM – Thanks to its micro-adjustable, ergonomic, and compact dial, this system allows for independent adjustment of the helmet’s vertical position and contact points, thereby optimizing stability, ventilation, and comfort.
SUPER FIT™ ENGINEERING — Using the proprietary Super Fit™ sizing system, Giro has designed helmets that fit perfectly on all head shapes, drawing on scientific data and over 25 years of expertise. VENTILATION VIA “WIND TUNNEL” TECHNOLOGY — Giro helmets are developed using our exclusive “Wind Tunnel” ventilation system.
