Description

The SUM'TEC ice axe is an example of versatility: it can be easily adapted to all classic and technical mountaineering routes. Its complete modularity allows you to optimize it according to your objectives. The TRIGREST support wedge, which can be adjusted without tools, and the compatibility with most Petzl accessories (PUR'ICE and DRY blades, MASSELOTTES...) ensure the necessary efficiency for difficult passages.

Technical features:
- ICE blade is sharpened at the tip for easy penetration of all types of ice,
- the TRIGREST support wedge allows you to quickly adjust the position of the hand or index finger in the pulling position without the use of tools,
- handle with steel tip for solid support when using an ice axe.

Versatility:
- curved shaft provides good anchoring efficiency while protecting the hand,
- shaft is straight enough to plant the axe effectively in the snow and remain comfortable when walking.
