Description

The Akila LT is a lighter, shorter version of the Akila model, specially designed for technical steep skiing. It retains the same technical head as the standard model, available in a tip or hammer version, while adopting a 43 cm shorter handle, easy to store in a backpack. Its base is cut diagonally to act as a point, and features a hole for attaching a leash. The integrated support wedge improves the grip of an ice axe without a handle. Positioned on the shaft, it provides a secure grip and optimum control during technical ascents. The hammer version of the Akila LT is also an excellent choice for summer ascents. Its size and weight make it an excellent choice for more compact configurations.
