Description

Designed and manufactured for performance, these pulleys are equipped with CN bearings (tight clearance) in the upper pulley to maximize the precision of gear shifting and C4 bearings (free clearance) in the lower pulley to allow movement of the chain. 500 AF The material of the Delrin pulley has high mechanical strength and rigidity, natural lubrication, high resistance to moisture, caustic chemicals and UV rays. Delrin also makes very clean and precise machines. The inherent lubricating qualities of this Teflon-infused material significantly reduce friction when it interacts with the bicycle chain. Compared to other pulleys, the 500 AF Delrin with Teflon offers much lower aerodynamic strength than either aluminum or titanium pulleys. Enduro Zero Ceramic-Hybrid Bearings with high carbon 52100 chrome alloy bearings treated to oxide black, combined with grade 5 silicon nitride ceramic balls with a 90% tight grease and high pressure. Si3N4 ceramic balls reduce bearing wear and increase bearing life by eliminating steel-to-steel contact inside the bearing. The black oxide/magnetite racing treatment offers an additional level of corrosion resistance and extended worry-free performance. The eleven-tooth size and profile with 5 mm bolt holes are designed as an upgrade for most Shimano 11-speed derailleurs. Enduro derailleur pulleys are available in a number of configurations and performance levels, all proudly manufactured with precision in the USA.

Precision machining for perfect fit and smoother transmission. Much more efficient than aluminium or titanium pulleys in terms of drag reduction.
