The Colab Expert chain tensioner is the latest addition to the Singlespeed drivetrain family. It offers a highly secure, robust and easily adjustable chain tensioning system designed for freeride / DH use on full-suspension mountain bikes.

The Expert offers 15mm of chain line adjustment and an adjustable chain stop, as well as a locking bolt on the mounting bracket and higher spring tension to keep the chain tight and prevent chain slap, avoiding chain slap even on the roughest landings.
The Expert gives you a unique gear configuration that's quieter, more reliable and adjustable.

Combined with the new Expert Singlespeed kits with Sprocket Guides, which act as a chain guide for the rear sprocket - the chain doesn't go anywhere.
Sandwiched between two CNC-machined aluminium guide plates, with a refined sprocket design, your rear sprocket isn't going anywhere.

Main features:

• The anti-slip washer creates traction and prevents your turnbuckle from slipping due to vibration (between the bolt and turnbuckle interface).
• Adjustable stop - the new oversized stop will hold your turnbuckle in place and work even if you go off-road. It also allows you to adjust the positioning using the positioning screw, preventing movement in the event of violent impact.
• Positioning screw - The turnbuckle is supplied with a bolt that makes it easy to adjust the turnbuckle to the optimum position, and allows it to be removed and reinstalled without losing its position.
• Locking bracket - allows adjustment of chain line and positioning and is oversized for durability.
• Increased spring tension - holds the tensioner tighter, reduces chatter and reduces the risk of chain slippage.
• Chain line adjustment possible with a single bolt offering 15 mm of lateral adjustment for perfect chain line.
