Description

What size do you need?

Choosing the right sized bike depends on the type of bike, your height, your riding style, and your preference. A correct fitting bike will be more comfortable, more efficient and more fun to ride

Measure yourself accurately

To get started, measure your height and use the size chart available on each product description.

What to do if you are in between bike sizes?

If you are on the edge of two different bike sizes, don't worry, you'll probably be ok on either size (rather than thinking that one size will be awful and the other will fit). Indeed, bikes are adjustable: the seatpost can slide up and down, the saddle can move backwards and forwards and you can even switch out parts like the stem for different sized ones to help the bike fit better.

Finding out whether or not you should pick a bigger or a smaller frame is sometimes as simple as personal preference, but there are a few simple ways to work out which might suit best:
  • If you’re flexible, you might prefer a shorter head tube, so the smaller size might work out better for you. You can use a longer stem to make the reach more comfortable.
  • On a bigger bike, the reach to the handlebars will be longer. This means that if you have proportionally longer arms, you might be more comfortable on a bigger frame.

The Soloist. A name that comes from the depths of our history, but one that is immediately familiar to anyone whose memories of cycling races date back to the early 2000s. It was the weapon of choice for the best riders in the World Tour of the CSC and Cervelo Test Team, and we are bringing it back to life. The new Soloist is designed for those who, week after week, want only one high-performance bike. It combines aerodynamic advantages and lightness to offer the ideal compromise. It is slightly lighter than the S5, but significantly more aerodynamic than the R5, and borrows the threaded bottom bracket standard found on the R5-CX. It's a race bike that can adapt to mechanical and electronic shifting, rack up training miles in all weather conditions, and still jump to the front when it counts. That's the Soloist.

The Soloist fits right between the S5 and the R5 in our performance range, while being priced closer to amateur cycling than the World Tour circuit. It is lighter than the S5 but faster than the R5. It is an ideal compromise for those looking for a bike that can climb as well as sprint.

The Soloist's geometry is directly inspired by the R5. The R5 is loved by pros and amateurs alike for its balance, stability, and precision when a tough climb turns into an even tougher descent. The Soloist benefits from our years of experience in developing road bike geometry to be ready to battle it out on any starting line.

The cables and hoses are routed inside the frame for aerodynamic reasons, but they do not pass through the stem. We have developed our own system that routes everything under the stem and then through the headset. You won't need to bleed the brakes to change the stem, whether you're adjusting your position or lending the bike to a friend.

Product advantages:

  • The Soloist sits right between the S5 and R5 in our performance range.
  • The Soloist is compatible with tires up to 34 mm and with wheels wide enough to support them.
  • Sram Rival AXS 2x12-speed drivetrain with power meter.
  • Sram Rival hydraulic disc brakes, 160/160 mm.
