The Syntax Mips® combines a touch of European elegance with a slightly wider fit and high-performance features, all in a very slim design. State-of-the-art fit is assured thanks to the highly adjustable Roc Loc™ 5 Air Mips system, which lets you customize fit and feel for long-term stability and comfort, while offering additional protection against rotational forces in the event of an oblique impact. The outer shell is molded from durable polycarbonate that is permanently fused to the EPS foam liner using the “In-Mold” manufacturing process to improve durability and ventilation without adding bulk.

RIGID SHELL WITH HARDBODY™ MOLDED INNER LINER — The two-piece shell combines a rigid, robust outer shell with a polycarbonate inner shell permanently fused to the liner for enhanced durability without adding excess weight.
INTEGRATED MIPS® SYSTEM FOR BRAIN PROTECTION — All Giro helmets are designed to absorb maximum energy while exceeding the strictest safety standards. The goal of Giro helmets equipped with integrated MIPS is to reduce rotational forces. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the rotational force that may be transferred to the rider’s brain during certain impacts.
ROC LOC 5 AIR MIPS ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM — This revolutionary adjustment system adds a new dimension to helmet performance by improving ventilation, comfort, and stability. Using a patented design that suspends the helmet slightly above the skull, the Roc Loc 5 Air MIPS allows cool air to flow directly over your head, enhancing the performance of the vents and internal channels that draw heat away from the helmet. The fit and feel adjustments replicate the functionality of the Roc Loc 5 Mips, allowing you to easily adjust the fit tension and the helmet’s fore-aft tilt in seconds with just one hand.
VENTILATION VIA “WIND TUNNEL” TECHNOLOGY — Giro helmets are developed using the exclusive “Wind Tunnel” ventilation system. This sophisticated design combines active vents in the helmet shell with exhaust channels inside the helmet that channel cool air over and around the rider’s head while expelling heat and stale air outward.
