Choosing the right sized bike depends on the type of bike, your height, your riding style, and your preference. A correct fitting bike will be more comfortable, more efficient and more fun to ride

Measure yourself accurately

To get started, measure your height and use the size chart available on each product description.

What to do if you are in between bike sizes?

If you are on the edge of two different bike sizes, don't worry, you'll probably be ok on either size (rather than thinking that one size will be awful and the other will fit). Indeed, bikes are adjustable: the seatpost can slide up and down, the saddle can move backwards and forwards and you can even switch out parts like the stem for different sized ones to help the bike fit better.

Finding out whether or not you should pick a bigger or a smaller frame is sometimes as simple as personal preference, but there are a few simple ways to work out which might suit best:
  • If you’re flexible, you might prefer a shorter head tube, so the smaller size might work out better for you. You can use a longer stem to make the reach more comfortable.
  • On a bigger bike, the reach to the handlebars will be longer. This means that if you have proportionally longer arms, you might be more comfortable on a bigger frame.

Our engineers like to say: "If a bike looks fast, it probably is". TheÁspero-5 does indeed look fast when stationary. With no visible cables, tubes straight from our library of aerodynamically proven shapes, and a slight downtube cut to optimize tire-to-frame distance, the result is a bike that proves the adage.

Some might say that aerodynamics don't matter much in gravel, but if you've ever faced the wind on an open plain, the thirty-two grams of drag you'll save with the Áspero 5 will make you breathe a sigh of relief. Most gravel events are contested without the advantage of a peloton or World Tour tactics, but when you're facing the wind all day, it's good to know that your bike is taking some of the load off your shoulders.

"Trail" - The reaction of the front wheel to the rider's effort is the main factor in high-speed handling. The ability to adjust drag with the two-position "Trail Mixer" to compensate for the extreme diversity of tire sizes ensures a consistent riding experience.

We've designed the Aspero to accommodate either 700c x 40mm or 650b x 49mm tires. Of course, there are variables (rim width, inner tube/tread depth) that will impact the final distance. IMPORTANT NOTE: We always recommend 4mm distance, whatever tire/wheel combination you choose.

Red and Force mounts include Quarq Zero power sensors in the crankset. Integrating the power sensor provides greater rigidity, saves weight and improves accuracy compared to other aftermarket offerings - and the DZero provides power measurement accuracy to +/- 1.5%, even in variable temperatures.
