Ultra-minimalist cycling shorts for comfort during daily endurance rides or indoor training, refined with a new fabric, a more breathable insert, and an updated non-slip finish at the leg openings, while reducing weight and lengthening the leg for a more modern silhouette.

Casual coffee rides, indoor training, or days too hot to wear bibs: the GT Half Shorts S11 are designed for specific situations where bibs are an unnecessary constraint. The S11 generation updates the design loved by cyclists with a lighter, more durable main fabric in a deep, authentic black. At the waist, a Sens AIR front panel provides stability, support, and unrestricted breathability. The hipClick design wraps around the entire waist to keep the shorts in place with secure comfort. Despite these changes, breathability remains high, and the new Insert enhances cooling airflow with the addition of an ultra-lightweight front panel.

DETAILS:

The new QUARTZ fabric is a lightweight, breathable warp knit with permanent odorControl. The true-black color does not fade or become transparent when stretched during normal use, and 80% of its composition comes from pre-consumer recycled polyamide. A Sens AIR band at the lower abdomen eliminates pressure in aggressive pedaling positions.
The streamlined regularFit and contoured cut reduce the number of seams, eliminating chafing for total comfort and easy layering.
PILtec Plug-In: Lightweight, ultra-breathable fabric band at the leg opening. The microdot silicone treatment, invisible from the outside, stabilizes the fit and maintains grip in dry or wet conditions.
hipClick: waist construction combining elastic and mesh layers with a high, non-restrictive height to stabilize the panels and keep the Insert in place.
zeroPressure Waist: Soft, highly elastic waist construction that improves comfort and support without pressure or pinching.
Shock-Absorb Damping System Mono12: Compressive foam layers in a 12 mm endurance platform. Thermoformed shaping reduces bumps and irritation
3D Waffle: patented three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight
goldenGate 2.0: Free-floating construction that moves with the body rather than against it. New cutouts on the wings reduce friction throughout the pedal stroke.
