Progress never stops, which is why we've completely redesigned our top-performing bib shorts. The EQUIPE RSR S9 TARGA bib shorts push the limits of aerodynamics with an ultra-light and ultra-comfortable structure that outperforms all WorldTour gear.
The goal was simple: to improve comfort while reducing weight, without compromising on the performance and aerodynamics of the compression shorts. By strategically improving elasticity and fit, we've designed a bib short with an unmatched aerodynamic profile that doesn't unnecessarily compress sensitive areas. And thanks to the new, faster-drying structure, you won't have to worry about perspiration trapped in the fabric.

Features:

The Type.701kompressor woven fabric has been specifically developed for the EQUIPE RSR S9 cycling shorts. It is characterized by a compressive fit, frictionless comfort and wear resistance. But that's not all! It also has UV protection (UPF 50+) and odour protection and helps keep your body cool and dry. The Ossidia fabric inserts complement the compressive support provided by the Type.701 woven fabric with more elasticity in sensitive areas. Who says you have to sacrifice comfort to get a second skin effect fabric?

We've given the shorts our fastest cut, the aeroFit cut. It's our most aerodynamic cut, but don't worry; we haven't compromised on comfort. These shorts have a slightly longer leg length than our EQUIPE RS (racingFit) and MILLE GT (regularFit) collections.

Technologies:

A-Lock Engineering: When you shift your weight in the saddle, our rollBar straps, modified ergoBox structure and butterfly yoke give you more stability and optimal comfort without chafing as your cadence increases.
Carbon Xbib: An A-shaped brace system that limits the level of vertical stretch in the back while providing a stable insert hold. The double-sided carbon fabric reduces drying time compared to previous single-sided versions.
SkinGrip: Silicone treatment in the legs provides compression to keep the shorts in place. The compressive thigh support also provides an almost imperceptible transition between your skin and the garment.
Equipe RS S9 Sundeck: This redesigned and lighter version of our insert further reduces its volume and improves its cooling effect. The odour-resistant 3D microfibre top layer is available in a basalt colour, paying homage to the lava rock from which we derive our strength, balance and courage.
Shock-Absorb Damping System Mono 9: A 9mm compression foam for shock absorption. Specially designed for racing with 3D Waffle inserts to reduce weight and increase airflow. Thermally formed to reduce the number of ridges and therefore the risk of chafing.
goldenGate: A sewing technique that allows the yoke to be attached only to the front and back of the insert, leaving the middle part free so that it can follow your body's movement without creating resistance.
Sundeck Superlight: A soft and comfortable fabric insert is placed at the front of the insert to increase airflow and reduce compression on the most sensitive areas. This gives the shorts a more aggressive fit without compromising on comfort.
whirlKrater: Similar to the kraterCooler ventilation system, the whirlKrater system has strategically placed perforations on the insert and also in the foam layers, generating a swirl of fresh air.
