Its generous volume easily accommodates bulky gear or guarantees you enough room to carry more than the bare minimum. Your gear has never been easier to access with a huge U-shaped zippered opening on the front panel, making it easy to organize your gear or find what you're looking for at a glance.

The Kestrel 68 also features access under the top flap with a drawstring closure, as well as a lower sleeping bag compartment with removable divider. The Kestrel's back system was designed with comfort and stability in mind, featuring a proven AirScape back panel, waist belt, and heavy duty shoulder straps that allow for comfortable carrying of a heavy load. The adjustable design allows you to easily customize the height of the back panel using the hook and loop system at the shoulder blades.

The Kestrel 68 is loaded with compartments to store all your backpacking gear, including reinforced nylon water bottle pockets, two zippered waist pockets, a large front slip pocket, a top flap pocket, a pocket under the top flap with a key ring, and an externally accessible hydration pocket. In addition, the Kestrel 68 offers all the essential features for your nature outings; a built-in, removable rain cover, Osprey's Stow-On-The-Go pole holder, multiple compression straps, ground sheet straps, ice axe holders, and a multitude of attachment loops.
