To improve on this timeless classic, the brand has retained all the features that made the R2 v2 such a highly regarded product: its exclusive seamless multi-gradient compression, quick-drying fabric, and the K-Protect tab at the knee—specifically designed to reduce impact—all combined with even more revolutionary details. The new fibular bands activate proprioception to improve balance and stability, reducing the risk of sprains on the track. Targeted horizontal zones of embossed knit fabric promote microcirculation and lymphatic flow, thereby reducing shin pain and inflammation. For nighttime use, Compressport has added a reflective logo to the back of the sleeve for better visibility. Following the recent publication of a scientific report showing that compression sleeves help reduce stomach issues after intense exercise, Compressport has refined these waffle-knit zones to further promote blood circulation and reduce intestinal damage.
