Description

DESCRIPTION:

The Squadra Stretch shell provides wind protection when you're out on a cool day or tackling a long descent, and its stretch panels give it a snug fit and eliminate fabrics that might flutter in the wind. This is a modern version of the windproof shell jacket, the kind you keep in your pocket for a long mountain descent, or put on first thing in the morning until the weather warms up. This jacket used to be very simple: it was a nylon shell that lacked elasticity and therefore had to be cut to fit all morphologies, both on and off the bike. We completely rethought the shell jacket and how it's constructed. We've added panels on the sides and sleeves in a very stretchy, tightly knit fabric, which allows us to give it a modern, close-fitting cut for aerodynamic gains on all terrains. It also retains more warmth than a jacket that floats in the wind. It remains very compact, so it can be stored in a minimum of space in a jersey pocket. Its stretch panels have received a water-repellent treatment suitable for light fog, but be warned, this is not a real rain jacket
