The Albula is the sustainable choice among Mammut insulated jackets. It is made almost exclusively from recycled materials: recycled polyester outer material, recycled polyamide lining. The Thermore® Ecodown® synthetic fiber padding is made from recycled PET bottles and is the easy-care vegan alternative to down. It features excellent loft and high levels of thermal insulation, even in wet conditions. Comfortable, the Albula is a versatile jacket. Thanks to its excellent warmth-to-weight ratio, it can be worn for hiking as well as for everyday life. When it's cold, its loose, all-purpose fit allows it to be worn over a thick mid-layer.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Bluesign® PRODUCT. The bluesign® system ensures sustainable textile production that eliminates the use of harmful substances. Bluesign® products guarantee a responsible use of resources with a minimum impact on people and the environment.
PFC-free DWR treatment. Perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) are often used for waterproofing but are hardly biodegradable. Mammut is committed to replacing non-biodegradable textile treatments with more sustainable high-performance solutions.
Fair Wear. Fair Wear works to ensure fair and safe working conditions in all its textile factories. The non-profit organization works with factories, unions, NGOs and governments to protect workers' rights.
Ecodown®. An eco-friendly alternative to down, Global Recycled Standard compliant and PETA-Approved Vegan certified, Ecodown® is the only thermal insulation product made from used plastic bottles.
Recycled. This product contains recycled materials offering uncompromised performance and functionality. Choosing recycled materials reduces the use of virgin materials and contributes to a more circular economy.
