Light as a summer breeze and strong enough for year-round use, the functional Croz 3-layer mountain jacket fits into any backpack. It is both resistant thanks to the technical polyamide outer fabric but also absolutely waterproof and windproof thanks to the Ceplex Green membrane. In addition to the highly breathable membrane, it has ventilation zips that ensure a pleasant body climate. Its cut is perfectly suited to the needs of mountaineering. The armadillo was also the inspiration for the preformed elbows and the hood. During climbs, even long ones, the jacket does not come out of the harness; the adjustable hood can be worn with a helmet. Large, raised front pockets provide ample space for gloves and map and remain accessible even when wearing a harness or backpack. Thanks to its cut and material, this technical hardshell stretch jacket ensures perfect freedom of movement and combines functionality and respect for the environment. Textile materials are certified in accordance with the bluesign® system, the world's most stringent standard for textile products in terms of environmental and consumer protection. For the manufacture of the membrane, we use in particular recycled materials and of biological origin. The membrane is also completely free of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFC) and PTFE. VAUDE's Green Shape label guarantees an ecological, functional product made from sustainable materials.
