The Campagnolo Ekar derailleur design, with a medium length cage, is compatible with the different sprocket sizes on all three cassette options, from 9-36 to 10-44 , which is ideal for all gravel requirements.
The parallelogram 2D trajectory is specifically designed for the Ekar 1x system, so that the rear derailleur performs precise mechanical movements to make the best use of the 13 cogs. Its rollers with a differentiated number of teeth guarantee perfect operation and optimal chain retention to guarantee safety and peace of mind, whatever the route you face.
The clevis clutch, permanently engaged for more reliable chain retention and quieter operation, can be locked for easy wheel removal. Over 70 parts have been designed for the only Ekar rear derailleur. Carbon fiber reinforced polyamide and anodized 7075 and 6082 alloys are ingeniously used in the body and in the roller train of the Ekar rear derailleur to achieve the best performance in strength, duration and lightness, ensuring reliable operation on the long term and guarantee excellent resistance against shocks, sand and dust from gravel courses. In addition, the screws are made of stainless steel to resist longer in the most difficult conditions.
