OAK conducted extensive testing to determine how to effectively protect the brake line. Plastic and rubber were quickly ruled out. Only a steel spring could distribute the concentrated load over a sufficient surface area and provide long-lasting protection for the brake line. The result: no more spongy braking or oil leaks caused by defective brake lines.
