The water-repellent leather and Cordura upper offer protection and comfort, while the Gore-Tex Performance Comfort footwear guarantees waterproofing and breathability. The midsole is made of dual-density Eva: the first density is more compact to provide support and stability, while the second is softer, ensuring comfort and cushioning. The Asolo/Vibram outsole has a self-cleaning design and uses the MegaGrip compound for grip, traction and performance on wet and dry terrain. To complete the model, a rubber forefoot for extra protection and side-rotating metal hooks.

Vibram sole

Vibram is a manufacturer of high-end soles for hiking, climbing and trail shoe brands. These soles are made of high performance rubber materials to provide great resistance, better traction and outstanding grip on difficult mountain terrain and in all weather conditions.

For hiking, the design can be either narrow or wide in order to bring more precision or more stability to your every step. Note that the height of the crampon also plays an important role in mountain climbing. The higher the cleat, the more you will gain in clearance and ease in unstable rocky sections..
