Lightweight shoes for fast mountain hiking on and off the trail. A versatile, waterproof shoe designed to move quickly with a loaded backpack.

DETAILS

  • WEIGHT: 625g - Size/Size 42
  • CODE: 67075-200-3
  • UPPER: Waterproof leather upper, fabric collar and flex point and TPU molded stone guard.
  • LACING: Newly developed "Speed Lacing" with bi-component fasteners in lightweight steel and plastic. The lower part, with lacing eyelets, lets you quickly slide the lace and adjust volumes in a single movement. The upper part features a lace locking system and hooks, which divide the lacing tension points, for a smooth, gradual wrap around the ankle and a comfortable, unrestricted fit.
  • LINING: GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane for maximum weather protection.
  • SOLE BLOCK: SALIX Trek sole with dual-density PU midsole for light weight and high cushioning. Vibram® XS Trek rubber outsole.

TECHNOLOGIES

  • ACTIVFIT SYSTEM: ACTIVfit is a construction system that develops different lasts, soles and models designed specifically for women's and men's feet. The models are designed and built to offer the best performance in various outdoor activities. Thanks to its experience and research, SCARPA offers absolute comfort. When we say 'absolute', we mean a subjective advantage that becomes objective comfort. This line sets a high quality standard for better performance, comfort, style and durability.
  • ACTIV Impact Technology: ACTIVimpact is a process applied in the manufacture of insoles. This technology uses materials whose physical and chemical characteristics will absorb the negative shocks caused by the ground and improve cushioning, in order to make the most of the energy expended during activity.
  • GORE TEX: Products designed with a GORE-TEX membrane are waterproof, windproof and durable, yet highly breathable. These products will stand the test of time, because they have been created to guarantee safety, protection and maximum comfort on any terrain.
  • VIBRAM: Vibram® XS TREK is a technical rubber offering excellent performance for outdoor activities. Its main properties are maximum flexibility and excellent wet grip.

Vibram sole

Vibram is a manufacturer of high-end soles for hiking, climbing and trail shoe brands. These soles are made of high performance rubber materials to provide great resistance, better traction and outstanding grip on difficult mountain terrain and in all weather conditions.

For hiking, the design can be either narrow or wide in order to bring more precision or more stability to your every step. Note that the height of the crampon also plays an important role in mountain climbing. The higher the cleat, the more you will gain in clearance and ease in unstable rocky sections..
