A women's mid-high hiking shoe with effective GORE-TEX® weather protection and Vibram® outsole for reliable hiking performance on a wide variety of alpine terrain and in many weather conditions.

Effective Protection

The Alp Trainer 2 is a modern mid-high hiking shoe that offers effective protection for long-distance hiking sessions and rough terrain. It has a durable, good quality suede upper with solid stretch inserts on the tongue and a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining. The generous rubber rock guard on the front provides extra protection from rocks and scree.

Comfort and support

Designed for comfort from the first steps, it has a precise fit and support using a specific feminine shape that follows the unique shape of a woman's foot. Firm ankle support on rough terrain and lateral stability with the patented 3F System, while the Flex Collar soft increases the ankle's range of motion for greater comfort on descents. The SALEWA® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) insole, customizable with interchangeable mid-layers, allows you to fine-tune volume, and our climbing laces allow for exact adjustment down to the toe.

Good grip and control

The improved Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole provides better performance and control on a wide variety of mountainous terrain thanks to its distinct climbing, traction and braking zones. It also excels in wet and muddy conditions. This outsole was developed exclusively by SALEWA®.
