What to do if you are in between bike sizes?
If you are on the edge of two different bike sizes, don't worry, you'll probably be ok on either size (rather than thinking that one size will be awful and the other will fit). Indeed, bikes are adjustable: the seatpost can slide up and down, the saddle can move backwards and forwards and you can even switch out parts like the stem for different sized ones to help the bike fit better.
Finding out whether or not you should pick a bigger or a smaller frame is sometimes as simple as personal preference, but there are a few simple ways to work out which might suit best:
- If you’re flexible, you might prefer a shorter head tube, so the smaller size might work out better for you. You can use a longer stem to make the reach more comfortable.
- On a bigger bike, the reach to the handlebars will be longer. This means that if you have proportionally longer arms, you might be more comfortable on a bigger frame.

Building an ultralight Bosch-powered full-suspension bike isn't easy. That's why the Cube AMS Hybrid One44 C:68X frame makes use of our most advanced C:68X® carbon material, for maximum possible strength and stiffness with the lowest possible weight. The 400 Wh battery is incorporated into the down tube, as close to the new, lightweight Bosch SX motor as possible to improve handling, and the frame is PowerMore-ready for a 250 Wh range boost with the optional battery pack. Internal cable routing complements the frame's sleek silhouette and there's a lightweight direct mount chain guide. With an angle adjustable headset so you can tweak the handling to suit your riding style, it's got everything you need for fast-paced trail riding.
A bit of Bosch boost – up to 55 Nm – in an ultralight package. That's the aim of the Cube AMS Hybrid One44 C:68X SLX's game, and it's extremely good at it. With the new lightweight Bosch SX drive unit, 400 Wh battery, controller built into the top tube and a handlebar-mounted Mini Remote, trail riding never looked so appealing. Shimano's super-reliable XT 1x12 gears serve up a mountain-taming range of ratios, while matching XT hydraulic disc brakes ensure you're safe and in control coming back down the other side. We chose Fox's 34 Performance Grip fork and Float Performance shock for their matchless ability to smooth the trail. And a pair of Newmen Evolution SL A.30 wheels, wrapped in Wicked Will and Nobby Nic 2.4in tires, keep you powering forward toward the horizon.
