Description:
The definition of E-bike according to BMC.
Developed on the basis of the Trailfox, the Swiss firm's Enduro model, the Trailfox AMP is the first E-MTB designed by BMC
This new-generation VTTAE opens up new horizons with its seamless integration, design and equipment reserved exclusively for E-Bikes.
No compromises have been made in terms of performance
.
By definition, AMP refers to the ampere, i.e. the electric current and the notion of amplification. Here, it's the amplification of power and pleasure that the Trailfow AMP provides.
The Shimano E-8000 motor offers powerful, high-performance and responsive assistance to give you exceptional linearity and experience. It's extremely compact, integrating perfectly into the frame and retaining the highly effective 150mm APS anti-pumping suspension.
The battery is concealed in the oversized Twin Hollow-core Tube Design, which reinforces the rigidity of the front and rear triangles, thanks in particular to its particularly low position, thus lowering the bike's center of gravity.
The geometry of the Trailfox AMP has been entirely designed to adapt to E-MTB use. More of an All-Mountain/Enduro bike, the Trailfox AMP is aimed at experienced riders looking for commitment. Its 150mm travel, tightly-closed fork angle and long chainstays offer the perfect blend of comfort, stability and handling.
BMC has also slightly raised the bottom bracket and installed 170mm cranks to avoid banging the pedals when the suspension is compressed.
