Description
TheRenthal Apex V2 Stem combines the durability of freeride, the stiffness of enduro, and the lightness of cross-country. Thanks to its unique 240° handlebar clamps, a significant amount of material could be removed from the stem body while maintaining the strength and stiffness required by modern wide handlebars. The Apex V2 stem is forged and CNC-machined. It features an oversized central bore that allows for extensive internal machining and the addition of ribs, maximizing structural strength and stiffness while minimizing weight.

If your handlebar has a high rise (which creates a lever arm) or if you use an aluminum handlebar you can slightly increase the tightening torque, the one indicated by the manufacturers is generally low enough presents no to risk damaging the carbon parts (on which the contact surface increases friction and thus limit slippage).
