Description

Wolf Tooth Direct Mount Sram BB30 chainrings , short axle, will replace your existing chainring and bottom bracket star or replace the direct mount chainring on Sram cranksets, including DUB cranks. The chainring is attached via 3 screws to the rear of the bottom bracket star near the axle.

  • Chain line: 49 mm.
  • Tooth profile: Drop-Stop B.
  • Weight: 59 g (28T) / 65 g (30T) / 70 g (32T) / 75 g (34T) / 81 g (36T).
  • Material: 7075-T6 aluminum.
  • Made in the USA.

Compatibility

  • Compatible with Sram cranksets, including DUB cranks. The chainring is attached via 3 screws to the rear of the crankset spider, near the axle. Note that Sram Red and Force AXS 12-speed cranksets use a different 8-screw mounting interface, which is not compatible with these chainrings.
  • Wolf Tooth's patented Drop-Stop wide/narrow tooth profile for ultimate chain retention and mud removal capability.
  • BB30: 0mm offset for BB30 short-axis cranks with 49mm chain line;
  • Praxis Works Route/CX cranks use a 6mm offset. Praxis Works mountain bike cranks use a 3mm offset for their DM-A chainrings and a 0mm offset for DM-Bs.
  • If you're using a 9-speed drivetrain, use a 10-speed chain (it shifts and runs well on a 9-speed drivetrain and is more snugly fitted, for better chain retention).
  • Drop-Stop B is optimized forSram 12-speed Transmission (T-Type) and Road Flattop chains, but is compatible with all chains that work with Drop-Stop A.
  • Not compatible with Shimano HyperGlide+ 12V or Campagnolo 13V.

Recommendations

  • We recommend using a clutch-type rear derailleur for better chain safety.
  • An L-shaped wrench works best, as the bottom bracket axle may come into contact with a socket adapter and prevent it from engaging properly.
  • Use the same 3 screws to secure your Wolf Tooth chainring.
