AbsoluteBlack Narrow Wide CX 1X Oval 110/4 BCD chainrings are designed for 4 bolt cranks such as Dura-Ace 9100, 9000, Ultegra 8000, 6800 and many others besides GRX. A perfect choice for Cyclocross and Gravel 1X with road cranks. Deliver with mounting screws.
Oval chainrings don't produce more force, they increase pedaling efficiency through better transmission of forces. This means that you don't necessarily get further by pedaling harder. Studies conducted by the University of Primorska, Slovenia, show significant differences between the use of AbsoluteBlack Oval chainrings and conventional round chainrings. - First of all, you need to remove the crank from the bike. Once the crank is removed, unscrew the 4 screws that hold the two chainrings together with a T-30 Torx key. Remove the two original chainrings. Place the Absoluteblack oval chainring in place of the large chainring. Note that the small indicator on the platter should be behind the crank arm - the same way the original platter indicates its position. Use the AB bolts provided to lock the chainring in place using a T-30 Torx spanner with a force of about 5-7 Nm. Reassemble your crank on the bike. That's it !
