After four years, the test-winning Tech 4 brake needed an update - not a redesign, but an upgrade.
Introducing the EVO: with enhanced braking performance and updates to both master cylinder and calipers, the EVO offers improved control, power and serviceability in cross-country, trail and downhill disciplines. You'll notice familiar names from our existing range, a deliberate choice designed to make choosing the right brake easier than ever.

The GR4 offers maximum power and zero compromise. Designed for Gravity and e-bike use, the GR4 monoblock caliper features a stiffer monoblock body, larger pistons (6% more power than the Tech 4 V4) and a slimmer profile for better frame compatibility.
They are deliberately incompatible with ventilated discs, in order to maximize caliper rigidity and performance

• Ergonomics: redesigned lever with larger hook and new honeycomb texture for maximum grip and control in all conditions.
• Improved modulation: new cam design and piston enhancements for a firmer braking point and better feel throughout the braking zone.
• Smooth, predictable lever feel: improved internal piston mechanics and roller-bearing pivots ensure consistent performance and feel.
• Simplified bleeding and maintenance: a new master cylinder bleed port allows clean, efficient bleeding without removing the cover.
• Improved pad wear regularity: caliper adjustments to improve braking feel throughout pad life.

• Low-friction master cylinder piston.
• Brake lever pivot mounted on 2 annular bearings.
• Hinged clamp for easy installation.
• Adjustment knobs for lever attack (contact point) and lever clearance.
• Standard Post-Mount GR4 caliper, 74.2mm center distance.
• 4 larger caliper pistons.
• Black 5mm-diameter hose, 2000mm long.
• Not compatible with ventilated discs.
