The FLOAT Glidecore air shock developed for the Podium fork is lighter and reduces the force required to trigger it. It offers excellent sensitivity over small bumps, whatever the rider and whatever the pressure setting.
Similar to the FLOAT shock absorbers, the FLOAT system features negative and positive chambers that automatically balance each other. This provides the right pressure for every rider. The progressiveness of the damping curve can be adjusted by means of air volume spacers, allowing mountain bikers to fine-tune the air shock's behavior.
The Glidecore allows the shock to twist during compression. Highly effective in collisions with rocks and roots, this system reduces friction.
