The Bikone DCTech BSA MTB bottom bracket is engineered exclusively for mountain bikers who demand the most in durability and performance on tough trails. This bottom bracket is asymmetrical because it takes up the space previously occupied by the spacer, making it more robust. With our Dual Cup Technology (DC Tech) and top quality steel bearings, you will enjoy the smoothest rides, ensuring every pedal stroke feels effortless on any terrain. Because conquering trails calls for the best.
Note: For a correct compatibility, mountain cranks should be always mounted on mountain frames and road cranks on road frames.
Main features:
- Dual Cup Technology: Two aluminum cups that perfectly align bearings on both sides, creating a solid center joint that eliminates any noise or movements issues.
- This bottom bracket uses Chromium Steel Bearings (ABEC5 /P5 – 2RS).
- The cups of our bottom brackets are made from 6061 Aluminum, a high-strength aerospace-grade aluminum on which we apply a T6 treatment. That makes the material harder and more durable, ensuring that our cups maintain top performance over time.
- Fully sealed: Axial seals on bearings and fully sealed on all surfaces.
- Lighter: The number of pins on this bottom bracket has been reduced to make it lighter.
- Asymmetric design: This bottom bracket is asymmetrical because it takes up the space previously occupied by the spacer, making it more robust.
