Completely redesigned by Look designers and engineers, the new Look Kéo 2 Max pedals feature a slimmer line and, above all, a wider contact surface, favoring the transfer of power and thus making you more efficient.

Optimized contact surface


The contact surface is one of the most important elements of a pair of pedals, and that of the Look Kéo 2 Max has been increased from 57 to 60mm to provide greater stability and support for the foot when pedaling.
Look has also optimized power transfer with a 500mm² contact surface, 25% more than the previous generation. The stainless steel plate has been reworked and optimized to perfectly match the geometry of the cleat and maintain an identical bearing surface, whatever the position of your foot.
All this has no impact on the weight of the pair, even improving the weight/power ratio for even greater performance

Optimized axle line


Also the subject of special optimization, the Keo 2 Max's axle line is built around an oversized "Chromoly Plus" steel axle and an internal ball bearing as well as a needle bushing located under the bearing surface, enabling optimal load pick-up and distribution.
A new part has been developed to be integrated between these two bearings. A tapered spacer replaces the toothed washer previously used to hold the needle bushing. This technical solution reduces friction, improves fluidity and therefore reduces the body's geometric tolerances and functional play.
All these improvements are designed to guarantee impeccable reliability
