TECHNOLOGIES

  • Multi-mould technology: inseparable shell with an inner EPS layer and several outer polycarbonate layers. This advanced technology combines hardshell construction in the upper part of the helmet with inmould technology in the lower part. Optimum combination of hardshell and inmould technologies.
  • Ventilation system: An efficient ventilation system that can be easily opened and closed with a glove if required. Front vents draw in fresh air through integrated ventilation channels. The open-close ventilation system ensures optimum cooling and, when closed, keeps the head warm and dry.
  • Uvex monomatic: The comfortable uvex monomatic closure, with its multi-stage design and anatomic shape, can be opened and closed with just one hand, ensuring a perfect chinstrap fit every time.
  • Uvex anatomic IAS: this technology uses the IAS 3D solution, which includes an additional elastic wing located at the adjustment knob, which adapts to the shape of the back of the head.
  • Uvex COOLMAX® EcoMade lining: helps regulate moisture to balance temperature. The material is breathable, contains 50% REC and is GRS-certified.
  • MIPS system: This complete safety system consists of a low-friction layer installed inside the helmet. This layer is designed to reduce the risk of brain damage - you can move slightly inside the shell during an accident, redirecting forces away from your head.
  • Tocsen crash sensor: Tocsen technology calls in the professionals in an emergency. The precise sensor detects collisions and can save lives. If Tocsen receives no response from the cyclist after a fall, it automatically calls the emergency services and sends them GPS data. It also connects to the entire Tocsen community nearby.
