TECHNOLOGIES

  • LDL: LOW DENSITY QUADCORE LINER- Simply put, LDL started with the idea of putting a low density liner inside these helmets to suck the energy out of a low G blow to the head. Your helmet is there to take the hits for you when you hit your head, hard. LDL is there to soften the bumps we get that aren't close to the forces that compress or damage your helmet foam. It turns out that low g hits, especially when received repeatedly, turn into serious concussive brain damage. The data shows that the majority of crash impacts occur at g-forces well below those tested by the standards. And that's why we're strong advocates of incorporating softer materials in our helmets and closer to your head. Our LDL reduces rotational impact forces by up to 25% and reduces low-g linear forces by up to 30%. We continue to test and experiment with LDL materials and design in our helmets and we won't stop. After all, we are an engineering-driven company whose goal is to develop the next generation of industry-leading safety technologies.
